Esther Apreku is a doctoral student in the Department of Communication at the University of Missouri and the Founder of All Love Foundation. Her work focuses on health communication, with interests in health campaigns and health literacy in areas such as maternal and menstrual health. She examines how communication influences health knowledge, stigma, help-seeking, and health decision-making. As a translational scholar, Esther bridges the gap between research and practice by using communication scholarship to inform health education, community outreach, and interventions that improve the lives of underserved populations. This commitment is reflected in her scholarship, public engagement, and community outreach efforts, including scholarly publications on maternal health and public commentaries on women’s health issues in both the United States and Ghana.
Esther holds a Master of Arts in Communication from Purdue University and both Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) and Master of Education (M.Ed.) degrees from the University of Cape Coast, Ghana.
Through All Love Foundation, Esther has coordinated educational, health, and humanitarian initiatives that have reached thousands of children, students, and community members across multiple regions of Ghana. These efforts have focused on health education, maternal and menstrual health awareness, educational support, and community development for underserved populations.
Through her academic work and community engagement, she works to improve public understanding of health issues, reduce stigma surrounding sensitive health conditions, and develop communication strategies that support healthier communities.
As Founder, Esther continues to advance the organization’s mission of promoting health education, menstrual health awareness, educational support, and community development. Her long-term goal is to develop research-informed communication interventions that improve health outcomes and expand opportunities for vulnerable populations in Ghana and beyond.
